STUK 999 emergency repair tape is a unique tape. Self-amalgamating, this non-adhesive tape can seal a split washing machine hose, repair a leaking radiator pipe, or insulate electrical connection. 

This is how it works: the tape is applied by holding down one end against the object to be repaired, and stretching the tape by about three times its length. This allows the air to enter and this creates a chemical reaction. Wind the tape around the object by overlapping the tape at least 50%. keep stretching. As the stretched tape meets the stretched tape underneath a chemical reaction occurs, and after 60 minutes, the tape amalgamates and becomes one, forming a watertight, airtight protective barrier.
This tape can be used for hosepipes, washing machine hoses, just to reinforce pipes and hoses, to provide electrical insulation, to wrap harnesses – the list is almost endless.
Very popular in chandlers. Also, most satellite dish engineers use this tape to seal the connectors from the elements.
