Silverlineʹs 533 mm (21-inch) bypass loppers are the ideal tool for effectively trimming and pruning twigs and branches. Regular pruning and trimming helps to keep the garden tidy and promotes healthy growth. One of the larger manual garden cutting tools, these bypass loppers operate with a scissor-like action. Two curved, carbon steel blades bypass each other to make light work of cutting through tough, dry or green branches.

The long 400 mm handles of these bypass lopping shears help the user to reach higher branches when pruning fruit trees, bushes and other tall foliage. The handles also have the added advantage of having rubber, cushioned grips, which help to make the shears comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time. An adjusting screw at the fulcrum enables the user to tighten the blades if they loosen over time and through prolonged use. Additionally, the fulcrum screw allows the blade to be loosened in the event that material gets stuck between the blades.
